- PCsRandall & Ben defeat a dragon and some wyrmlings on top of the Isle of Tarr’s volcano (with some help from Captain Shepard and his crew).

- PCs and the sailors collect the dragon’s treasure and the dwarven ship. They then depart Tarr for Soleme.
The battle
Randall flies to Ben (who’s still on the dragon’s back), and casts Fly on him. The dragon then shakes them both off.
Nathan Goldman, Leta the assistant, and Lavias the bard are attacked by the wyrmlings. Lavias is incinerated by a flame attack, after which Captain Shepard and the sailors join the battle. Nathan flees, and Leta fights until Randall orders her to flee as well.
The dragon again blasts the volcano with its flame breath, melting the northwest pile of treasure (48,400gp worth of gold and jewelry). Randall then kills the dragon with his magic, sending it crashing onto the western shores of Tarr. Ben descends to the volcano and helps the sailors kill the remaining wyrmlings, bringing the battle to a victorious finish.
The portal
The PCs and Hal investigate the portal. Randall suspects they need fire to open it, and with the crew’s help, they activate the portal with several lit torches.
As the Dragon’s portal opens, Randall allows Hal to drain his strength and open a second portal to the the Swarm. The PCs, sailors, Nathan, and Leta then witness an interaction between the Dragon and the Swarm.
Lesser Pantheon
Shortly after recognising the Swarm, the Dragon realises in fury that it’s been dormant for many years, likely because of the Archfey. However, the Dragon shows zero gratitude for being awakened, and demands to know what the Swarm wants - accusing it of “always trying to upset established hierarchy.”
The Swarm explains how it was awakened by Randall. It says the Servant has also been awakened, but it’s unsure about the Wild and the Laran. The Swarm asks the Dragon to help awaken the others, and gather them together for a meeting.
The Dragon says it must first reestablish contact with its subjects. Then it will think on the Swarm’s suggestion, and make contact via a “piece of itself” which it senses in the PC’s possession. Randall then sees a flame appear inside the amulet Ben found underwater, and he notices that the amulet’s crystal resembles the crystal given to him by the Swarm.
With nothing more to discuss, the Dragon and the Swarm depart.
Aftermath
Nathan accuses the PCs of having an ulterior motive for coming to the Isle of Tarr. He then tells Shepard he wants to return to Soleme as soon as possible.
The PCs tell Leta to find another boss, and she agrees. They discuss whether Leta should work for the PCs, although they decide this might also be too dangerous.
The PCs instruct the sailors to break up the melted treasure with pickaxes. The sailors then spend the next few days hauling treasure to the Troublemaker and drinking in celebration. The PCs join these celebrations, and Ben gets some flirtation practice with A.B.S. Hallie.
Ben visits the dragon’s body and takes two dragon teeth as treasure - one medium-sized, the other massive. He turns both into necklaces, and gives the massive one to Randall.
While preparing to leave, the PCs get First mate Rick to take command of the dwarven ship. They then board the Troublemaker, and set sail for Soleme.
