  • PCsRandall & Ben convince the Troublemaker’s Crew that the journey isn’t cursed.
  • Watkins is reborn as Watkins the immortal.
  • PCs and the Troublemaker’s crew investigate the dwarven dig site again.
  • PCs explore an underwater cave at the dwarven dig site, and find a way leading back to their own camp site.

Lifting the curse

The PCsRandall & Ben easily convince the sailors that the journey isn’t cursed. During the discussion, they praise the crew, and give Watkins a new name: Watkins the immortal.

The PCs also offer the sailors a bigger share of treasure, and Randall offers a potion which will make the sailors desirable to others (a potion which Watkins seems especially interested in).

Kenley realises that his fearmongering has failed. But he reaffirms his belief that the journey is cursed.

The dwarven dig site

The next day, the PCs and the sailing crew return to the dwarven dig site. The PCs let the sailors take 75gp and some beer barrels left behind by the dwarves.

The sailors then manage to widen the cave entrance leading underground. Hal enters the water, and finds the remains of an underground temple.

The PCs then prepare to dive into the cave. They tie themselves together, and entrust Watkins and First mate Rick with the rope. Ben says he’ll tug on the rope once a minute if everything is okay, and 3 times in quick succession if there’s trouble.

Underground

The PCs dive into the flooded passage, and reach a chamber where they can resurface for air. Hal checks further into the temple, and finds an exit from the flooded section.

The PCs dive again, and underwater they find an ancient gemstone amulet. They continue swimming until they reach the exit Hal mentioned, where they find Mosor’s black bandanna.

Faced with a choice between going left or right, Randall flips a coin to decide, and the PCs are led right. They follow the passage until they reach another cave in. Randall uses his Gaseous Form to pass through the rocks, and up to the surface of the island. Looking around, he realises he’s back at his own camp site.
