Odran is a paladin who’s sworn to defend Titan and Soleme. He’s a high-ranking member of Soleme’s navy, and has been rapidly gaining power and status in recent years. However, Odran’s methods raise questions about his integrity.
Odran’s rise can be partly attributed to Ben, who fought many duels on Odran’s behalf. Ben was promised a share in the Newgreave’s glory. But when the Duelling Period of Soleme ended, Ben’s usefulness expired. Seeing him as an inconvenience, Odran unsuccessfully tried to eliminate Ben, by tricking him into visiting the extremely dangerous Sea Sanctum.
